Unpixie Terms and Conditions (in plain in English)

Overview

A single Unpixie user account can be used to raise money (as a Fundraiser) or donate money (as a Donor). Fundraising and donating is carried out via Campaigns. Each campaign is based around a single image of the Fundraiser's choosing. The image is pixelated at the beginning of each campaign. Donors can donate to 'un-pixelate' one or more pixels of their choosing. The Fundraiser can set the required donation per pixel in £1 increments. This donation-per-pixel can be changed at any time during the campaign.

To Fundraisers

Images: Fundraisers must hold the full rights to images uploaded to the Unpixie site, or have explicit permission from the rights holder to be used on the site. This applies to user profile images and campaign images.

Donations: Donations made to a campaign will be transferred to the associated charity with 5 working days. On request Fundraisers can be provided details of transfers made to the charity associated with their campaign.

To Donors

Donations: Donations to campaigns can be made up to the balance of your account funds. Once a donation has been confirm the value of the donation will be deducted from your balance. This value cannot be refunded.

Funds: The balance of the funds in your account (that which has not been donated) can be requested to be refunded by emailing hello@unpixie.com from the email address registered to your Unpixie account. The total balance of your funds will be transferred back to the card you paid with less a 5% handling fee. Refunds will be made within 5 working days of receipt of request.
